Hey mates,
I tried to programme a drumbeat in MIDI and now I can not Mixdown it to MP3. The only way I can get along with that MIDI crap is to put it in a *.mid File but the the drumpatterns turn to midi piano sounds.
Do you have an answer or sollution?

Regards Blues Dr. S

Hi,

simply click the solo-button for the midi track (or all others to "mute") and export the whole song to WAV/MP3 - now you'll just get the choosen track as audio file.

Cheers,

alex

What is your default MIDI device? Most MIDI devices either on your motherboard or on a separate card use MIDI channel 10 as the default drum channel. If you assign a MIDI drum channel to anything other than 10, you are likely to get instrument sounds (e.g. piano) instead of drums. I hope this helps.
